PSG willing to bid £64m to sign ‘superstar’ midfielder who Arsenal want to buy this summer

French giants Paris Saint-Germain are potentially willing to offer more than Arsenal to sign a midfielder who is causing a lot of excitement right now. 

If reports are to be believed, Mikel Arteta has asked Edu and his team to recruit a new midfielder this summer, someone who can complement Declan Rice in the middle.

💧In that regard, it seems as if Arsenal could potentially add a number six or a number right, depending on market availability and their plans with Rice.

𝐆Ideally, Arteta would probably prefer to sign a new Jorginho-type, meaning he can continue to use Rice in an advanced position.

Perhaps Thomas Partey’s🧸 future will play a significant role in that decision too.

After several seasons of injury disappointment, Partey has been linked with an Arsenal exit🍬, but it remains to be seen what opportunities will arise this summer.

Jorginho🎃 is staying, that has already been confirmed via his new contract, and it’s just a matter of how Arteta will complete his set.

That being said, Arsenal are said to be interested in Benfica midfielder Joao Neves, a 19-year-old with the world at his feet.

✃PSG are ‘serious’ about signing Neves this summer, and although they are not willing to pay his €120m (£103m) release clause, they would bid around €75m (£64m).

Of course, that is significant news given 🍸Arsenal were previously said to be willing to offer £51m for Neves.
