PSG willing to bid £64m to sign ‘superstar’ midfielder who Arsenal want to buy this summer
French giants Paris Saint-Germain are potentially willing to offer more than Arsenal to sign a midfielder who is causing a lot of excitement right now.
If reports are to be believed, Mikel Arteta has asked Edu and his team to recruit a new midfielder this summer, someone who can complement Declan Rice in the middle.

💧In that regard, it seems as if Arsenal could potentially add a number six or a number right, depending on market availability and their plans with Rice.
𝐆Ideally, Arteta would probably prefer to sign a new Jorginho-type, meaning he can continue to use Rice in an advanced position.
Perhaps Thomas Partey’s🧸 future will play a significant role in that decision too.
After several seasons of injury disappointment, Partey has been linked with an Arsenal exit🍬, but it remains to be seen what opportunities will arise this summer.
Jorginho🎃 is staying, that has already been confirmed via his new contract, and it’s just a matter of how Arteta will complete his set.
That being said, Arsenal are said to be interested in Benfica midfielder Joao Neves, a 19-year-old with the world at his feet.
PSG reportedly willing to bid more than Arsenal for Benfica’s Joao Neves
Neves is thought to be a rare talent who genuinely has the ‘superstar෴‘ potential to hit the level of a midfielder like Rice and Manchester City’s Rodri.
꧃And according to journalist , who shared his update on X, it seems as if PSG have concluded something similar.

✃PSG are ‘serious’ about signing Neves this summer, and although they are not willing to pay his €120m (£103m) release clause, they would bid around €75m (£64m).
Of course, that is significant news given 🍸Arsenal were previously said to be willing to offer £51m for Neves.

🦂“Neves is a priority target, and one reason why Manuel Ugarte could leave for the right price. PSG have had approaches from Manchester United and Bayern but no one close yet to their €60m asking price.
🌠“PSG also one to watch for Joshua Kimmich. High on their list of targets.”
Of course, it’s similarly interesting to see that PSG are interested in Joshua Kimmich – explaining the significant role they may play in Arsenal’s midfield plans this summer.
Kimmich is willing to join Arsenal💛 who are thought be interested in the signing, even if a move is yet to materialise in the public eye.
