‘Prominent people are saying’… Journalist claims 23-year-old Man Utd player is waiting for Ten Hag to go now

Jadon Sancho hasn’t played football for Manchester United for months.

The England international has been completely frozen out of the United squad after his public spat with Erik Ten Hag.

The is that Sancho will be leaving Manchester United in January. However, the player himself is apparently hoping to come back into the fold.

Indeed, speaking on , Steve Kay has shared what he’s heard about Sancho’s situation at United, and he says that some prominent people are now saying that the winger wants to see if he can outlast Ten Hag at Old Trafford and come back into the side under a new gaffer.

Sancho waiting for Ten Hag to go

Kay shared what he’s heard about the attacker.

“You hear other things that he’s there on a big contract and that he’d be mad to leave on those wages, and quite a few prominent people are saying that he’s going to see if he can see Ten Hag out, if he loses the next three games and Ten Hag’s out the next manager comes in and says ‘right, Jadon, back in you come’.” Kay said.

Sancho needs to improve

There’s every chance that Sancho may live to fight another day at United as Ten Hag’s job comes under more and more pressure.

However, if Sancho does get another shot at Old Trafford, he needs to improve.

The winger has now failed to make an impact under three managers, and, in all honesty he doesn’t look cut-out for English football from what we have seen so far.

However, at the same time, Sancho was seen as a prodigious talent during his time at Borussia Dortmund, and there’s still this nagging feeling that under the right manager, Sancho could still come good.

Whether or not Sancho can outlast Ten Hag at Old Trafford remains to be seen.
