‘Progressing fast’: Journalist claims Leeds making good progress towards signing ‘mesmerising’ player
Leeds United are reportedly on the verge of bringing Georginio Rutter to Elland Road.
Multiple sources have claimed that the Whites are closing in on a deal for the Hoffenheim star.
Fabrizio Romano recently wrote on that Leeds and Rutter’s clubs are sorting out the final details.

Personal terms were fully agreed days ago, added the transfer insider.
“Medical tests to be scheduled if all goes to plan,” continued Romano. “More than €30m (£26m) to Hoffenheim.”
claimed that, on Monday night, ‘Rutter was actively pushing for the move and ready to board a plane.’
Dean Jones has now shared his take on the Rutter to Leeds speculation.
Writing on , the journalist said that things are “progressing fast”.
Jones also suggested that Hoffenheim may be jumping for joy at how much they’re selling Rutter to Leeds for.
“I’m hearing Rutter has been progressing fast,” he said.
“From what I hear, Hoffenheim are pretty much doing cartwheels over this one.
“They only bought him for about £500,000 a couple of years ago.
“And we’re looking at Leeds spending a record fee potentially on this player.
“And again, that’s huge elevation, and a massive spend if Leeds do actually go ahead with it.”

Leeds planning for present and future – TBR View
Rutter is a superb talent who has drawn comparisons with Bayern Munich and Germany star Serge Gnabry.
The Bundesliga sung his praises just a few days ago.
‘He is among the 50 quickest players in the Bundesliga with a top speed of 34.54 km/h (21.46 mph),’ they wrote.
‘So his pace, direct running and mesmerising dribbling make him a handful for any defender.
‘Add into the mix that he is equally comfortable out wide as he is through the middle and it becomes clear just why the Hoffenheim No.33 is so highly regarded.’
Admittedly, Rutter’s record isn’t the most prolific – two goals and two assists from 15 Bundesliga outings this term.
Nonetheless, it shows he has what it takes to do well at the highest level, and of course the fact he’s doing so well at 20 years of age shows how much potential he has.
Leeds would be getting themselves a player who can do well in the present and potentially become a star of the future.
