‘Prize asset’: Celtic star linked with Arsenal named ‘best player in Scotland’ by pundit

Jackson, who made 45 appearances for Celtic, believes the striker remains the best player in the country despite his side being 20 points off the pace.
Speaking to Record Sport, he said: “On his game there’s no doubt he’s the best player in Scotland. Not this season unfortunately but he’s still chipped in with 20 goals.
“He is still only 23 and is the prize asset. If a new manager can somehow convince him to sign another two-year deal, great.
“If not they have to cash in this summer.”
