- Exclusive by Graeme Bailey
Arsenal are expected to be busy in the latter stages of the transfer window as Mikel Arteta and Edu look to apply the finishing touches to their squad.
The Gunners have made two senior signings so far this summer, landing Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna and Mikel Merino from Real Sociedad.
Arsenal are likely to also move some more players on before the transfer deadline.
Emile Smith Rowe has been sold, while Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga have been loaned out and others have been released on free transfers.
Eddie Nketiah is reportedly set to swap Arsenal for Crystal Palace, and now it looks as though another Gunners fringe player is now in the sights of another Premier League side.

Southampton ready to move for Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale
TBR Football understands that Southampton have held talks about landing Aaron Ramsdale after their move for Dutch goalkeeper Justin Bijlow broke down.
Bijlow has confirmed he is not moving to St Mary’s and now Southampton are looking elsewhere.
Arsenal’s No. 2 Ramsdale has been linked to a host of clubs, but one of those, , and now Southampton are ready to make their move.
Leicester City have also been linked with Ramsdale, but TBR understands they are targeting Luton Town’s Thomas Kaminski.
Arsenal would like a permanent deal for Ramsdale but are open to the prospect of a loan deal, which would be Southampton’s only real option to land him.
Southampton want a new goalkeeper, midfielder and striker signed by Friday.
Ramsdale will shine anywhere in the Premier League
Ramsdale joined Arsenal to a mixed reaction back in 2021 and quickly silenced his critics as he dethroned Bernd Leno as the Gunners’ first-choice in goal.
Now, the £30million England international looks set to suffer the same fate that befell his predecessor, and a move away looks to be on the cards.
And it’s very much for the best, because Ramsdale is a top goalkeeper who should be starting regularly, and he’ll shine for any other Premier League club.
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has deemed Ramsdale a “phenomenon” and Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold has described him as “incredible”.
