Premier League club planning for sale of ‘incredible’ player who Tottenham want to sign

Tottenham Hotspur are looking to continue the progress made in their first season under Ange Postecoglou by bolstering their side for the 2024/25 campaign.

Already this summer, Daniel Levy has sanctioned the departures of several players including Tanguy Ndombele.

Whilst Ange Postecoglou has been able to welcome back Timo Werner on another loan deal and the exciting England youth international Archie Gray.

However, there is still more work needing to be done at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer with a busy season ahead of them.

With Europa League football returning to north London, Spurs are going to need a squad filled with quality in order to rotate their squad regularly.

And it now seems as if one of the players who Tottenham are eyeing this summer is expected to move on over the coming weeks by his current club.

Premier League club expecting Tottenham target to leave this summer

Tottenham find themselves in search of attacking reinforcements this summer having failed to address Harry Kane‘s sale last year.

Postecoglou was forced to experiment with his frontline last season as Richarlison suffered from injury issues leaving Heung-min Son as the only real option through the middle.

A striker is believed to be an option for the Lilywhites this summer but the north London side may find themselves waiting on interest from Saudi Arabia in Richarlison.

For now, it seems as if Tottenham are focusing on bringing in more options from the wing.

According to , Wolves are currently working on the basis that Pedro Neto will depart this summer.

Gary O’Neil has already lost Max Kilman to West Ham just last week and it is claimed Wolves expect Neto to be their second and final big sale of the window.

It is claimed the Midlanders have been expecting Neto’s exit for a long time now, however, his potential sale will still depend on a club matching their valuation.

How much do Tottenham value Pedro Neto this summer?

And there lies the potential issue in Tottenham’s pursuit of Neto with a clear difference between the two sides when it comes to the player’s valuation.

It has been suggested Spurs consider the Portuguese winger to be worth in the region of £45m, whilst Wolves are demanding closer to £60m.

Although Neto has shown his ‘incredible‘ ability – doing so against Tottenham last season – Spurs are potentially correct to be cautious in valuing the 24-year-old.

Neto’s injury record is well documented and not in a positive way with the 24-year-old having suffered massively over recent years through injury issues.
