Premier League club believe they can win race to sign ‘incredible’ Liverpool player for over £20m
Liverpool now appear to be working on multiple deals after an incredibly slow start to the transfer window.
The Reds are inching closer to securing their first signing for new manager Arne Slot with a deal for Giorgi Mamardashvili now close.
However, Mamardashvili may not join Liverpool until 2026 so the Reds will still be left with the same squad as last season.
In fact, Liverpool have actually trimmed their squad since Jurgen Klopp’s departure with Fabio Carvalho joining Brentford in a £27.5million deal.
