Premier League club are very relaxed as Arsenal make moves to sign their player
A Premier League club are reportedly calm about Arsenal’s pursuit for one of their players having already turned down a bid from the Gunners.
The north London side are yet to make a senior signing this summer, with Arsenal’s chase for Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori beginning to unravel, with Mikel Arteta’s side still yet to make a concrete offer for an attacker.
Whilst there have been links with the likes of Viktor Gyokeres, it’s been an unusually quiet start to the window for Arsenal, who in recent years have been fast off the mark in getting all their key signings done and dusted.
And a Premier League side are now relaxed about Arsenal trying to sign one of their players.

Wolves unfazed by Arsenal’s interest in Dan Bentley
According to journalist , Wolves are ‘calm’ about Arsenal’s interest in Dan Bentley, with the north London side already having a £50,000 bid rejected for the English goalkeeper.
The former Brentford and Bristol City shot-stopper has been identified as a homegrown third-choice goalkeeper for Arsenal, with Bentley coming through the club’s academy before joining Southend United as a teenager.
Yet Arsenal’s move to bring the goalkeeper back to north London is taking it’s time, and Wolves are seemingly relaxed about the entire transfer saga, which is yet to really move on since the initial £50,000 bid.
Jacobs said: “Wolves are quite calm about the situation, they’re not in a rush to sell. Ideally, they just want to keep the player and if Arsenal want Bentley, they’re going to have to offer significantly more than their first rejected offer of £50,000.”

Arsenal just have to bite the bullet with Bentley’s asking price
Given how cheap a deal to sign Bentley will be for a club as big as Arsenal, it’s strange to see the north London side tip toe their way around this transfer given the finances involved.
Any deal worth less than £1m is nothing but a drop in the ocean for Arsenal, who as well as chasing Bentley are also negotiating a nearly £50m transfer for Italian international Calafiori.
Indeed, Arsenal’s pursuit of Bentley has been nothing short of unusual, and the Gunners might just have to bite the bullet this summer if they’re to bring in the English goalkeeper as third-choice for the upcoming season.
