Predicted Liverpool XI if three linked players are signed: Salah out, Neuhaus in
Liverpool will see their squad go under repair during the summer after a title defence that has been nothing short of abysmal.
The Reds have relinquished their crown after a single season and in truly miserable fashion.
Injuries haven’t helped their case and Jurgen Klopp has seen first hand that his squad depth just hasn’t been good enough.
Plenty of players are starting to be linked with a move to Anfield and it will be interesting to see who can be added in the summer.
Ahead of the summer window, we looked at how Liverpool might line up next season, should they land three linked players during the window.
In goal and back four
There won’t be too many changes at the back during the summer.
Alisson Becker hasn’t enjoyed his best campaign in England but Klopp will stick by the Brazilian for next season.
Similarly, at full-back, there is no real need to press the panic button just yet.

Trent Alexander-Arnold has suffered a blip this season but is only young and will bounce back. So too will Andy Robertson.
It seems obvious that a central defender will be targeted.
Virgil van Dijk will be fit for next season and Liverpool have been linked with a move for Leipzig star Ibrahima Konate.
A £34 million deal looks likely and he’d be a decent addition to play alongside the Dutchman.
Midfield
This could be one area of the park where Klopp doesn’t need to do too much reinforcing in the summer.
Thiago hasn’t been great but it’s clear he can play and as a result, he should get the chance to shine next season too.
Liverpool have missed Fabinho and Jordan Henderson in midfield this season and they’ll be welcomed back during 2021/22.
Both have been called upon to play at the back during the current campaign and that has seen them sorely missed in midfield.
In attack
This of course is a theoretical piece and we think there might be some serious changes made to Liverpool’s attack during the summer.
Some reports claim that Mohamed Salah isn’t happy at the club and if he’s sold Florian Neuhaus from Borussia Monchengladbach looks like a decent replacement.

The 24-year-old has scored seven goals and registered seven assists this season and is wanted by several top European clubs.
Roberto Firmino has to be running out of chances at Anfield too and he could be replaced by Patson Daka.
He has scored 27 goals this term and would be a welcome spearhead to Liverpool’s attack.
Sadio Mane will remain a mainstay in the team, we think.
Here is how Liverpool could line up next season:
