Potential Ross McCrorie sale makes Rangers keeping Glen Kamara even more imperative
Rangers fans would be forgiven for anticipating Ross McCrorie’s Ibrox exit before the end of the transfer window.
that the Gers had rejected a bid from Hibernian for the 22-year-old.

But Steven Gerrard then confirmed after their latest win – – that McCrorie could leave this summer but would not be allowed to move on loan once again.
It would perhaps be difficult to argue with those who feel that Gerrard speaking so publicly and openly about McCrorie’s future is an ominous sign.
In truth, plenty of fans seem to accept that now is probably the right time for McCrorie to move on.
But, while McCrorie has not yet featured this season, perhaps it would be fair to say that keeping Glen Kamara will become even more imperative should the youngster leave.

that Kamara is wanted by a host of clubs. In fact, it was suggested that some of his admirers were willing to pay £10 million for the Finland international.
Kamara has been a key player for the Gers throughout his time at Ibrox. Admittedly, his form has dipped at times. But he has generally been an inspired signing for Gerrard’s men.
Even with up to £10 million in the bank, replacing Kamara will not be an easy task. And that task will arguably become harder if McCrorie is allowed to move on.
McCrorie has not impressed to the same degree as Kamara. But he has produced some colossal performances since breaking into the first-team. So he could certainly do a job should he stay.
It would already appear to be a huge gamble if Rangers decided to let Kamara go if a big-money bid comes in.
That risk will only increase further if McCrorie moves on in the coming weeks.
