A number of Portsmouth fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Miguel Azeez after the Arsenal loanee’s display on Tuesday night.
Pompey booked their ticket to the knockout stages of the Papa John’s Trophy on a dramatic night at Fratton Park.

Danny Cowley’s men were bottom of their group after two defeats from two. However, they went on to beat Crystal Palace’s under-21s 3-0.
And with Sutton United beating Wimbledon 1-0, Portsmouth have now managed to go through. Interestingly, Arsenal’s under-21 side are also through to the next round.
Azeez was handed a rare start against Palace. He had come off the bench at the weekend for only his second League One appearance following his loan move.

And he seemed to make the most of his opportunity. He scored the opening goal with a delicious finish in the first-half. He curled the ball into the far corner from around 12 yards out.
Understandably, plenty of Arsenal fans were delighted about the impact that he made. But he was also lauded by a host of Pompey supporters on social media.
‘Quality tonight’: Portsmouth fans laud Azeez after Arsenal loanee’s goal
Many have implored Cowley to hand Azeez more game-time, starting this weekend. They have seen enough to believe that the 19-year-old can make a big difference to their fortunes in the weeks ahead.
He played in a slightly deeper role against the Eagles. But he has the versatility to play in a variety of places in that midfield.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Portsmouth fans were saying about Azeez during and after Tuesday’s win…
Azeez is a cold baller
— Mers (@merson_pfc)
Azeez has that Premier League Bazunu style look of nothing fazes him. Keep him in and give him a run, I think he’ll get better each game. Gassan & Hirst have now given Cowley a headache for Saturday, just as he asked for but I still can’t see him dropping Marquis
— Dan Horton (@Real_Dan_Horton)
Thought the attacking players made a case for themselves today, Azeez almost a definite starter for Saturday and both Hirst and Ahadme both in contention to start with/over Marquis.

Azeez was quality tonight
— mike white (@mikepfcwhite363)
These two look as if they have good chemistry together on and off the pitch, start them both on Saturday 🔵⚪️🔴
— Kai (@Pompey__)
Azeez Messi-esque performance ✔
Step up George Hirst…— Sam Smith (@ItIsSamSmith)
