‘Please stop’: Some Spurs fans react to what Dele Alli’s posted on Instagram
A number of Spurs fans have reacted to Dele Alli’s Instagram story in which he’s shared a picture of himself in the gym.
Over the past few months, Tottenham midfielder has posted numerous photos of himself working on strength and conditioning.
Last season, Alli struggled for game time under former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho, and was reportedly close to leaving in January.

This season, Nuno Espirito Santo reinstated the 25-year-old back to the starting XI, and he did well initially.
However, Alli now finds himself struggling for game time once again, having sat on the bench for Spurs’ last three Premier League games.
The Spurs Web shared a screenshot of the England international’s Insta story, a selfie in front of a squat rack with a trap bar at his feet.
But some Spurs fans have hit back, wanting to see results on the pitch:

He wasn’t strong and powerful when he was ballin week in week out back in the 15/16 -16-17 years so why doesn’t he work rewinding back to the play offs from Kane, the class movement off the ball, the late runs, the shots at goal and the link up, not getting his strength up ?

When will he learn. The people that work hard don’t put it on social media. The people that work hard don’t need to tell or show that they’re working hard. The people that work hard, work when no one is watching. The people that work hard, work when the lights are off. They WIN.
