Sheffield United’s Oli McBurnie is reportedly wanted by Rangers in the latest transfer speculation – but some Gers fans on Twitter claim they don’t want to see him move to Ibrox.
McBurnie, who’s known as a lifelong Rangers fan, is being linked with the Scottish giants.
, Steven Gerrard’s side are eyeing the 24-year-old as a summer target.
The report states the centre-forward is set to exit Sheffield United following their relegation from the Premier League. Supposedly, he’s valued around £15million.
McBurnie played just 25 games across all competitions this season, and a couple of injuries meant he couldn’t help claw his side out of relegation trouble.
The 17-time capped Scotland international is not part of his nation’s Euro 2020 squad this summer due to the fact he’s sidelined with a fractured metatarsal.

Rangers must ignore Oli McBurnie at £15million
For £15million, Rangers would need to be signing a player guaranteed to tear up the Scottish division.
striker McBurnie has the talent, and there is every chance he would score goals regularly at Ibrox.
However, his price tag is ridiculous, and surely Sheffield United won’t sell him for as much as that.
Gerrard will know he needs to improve his squad again ahead of next year. If you look at his transfer business in the last few years, it’s usually been spot on. McBurnie doesn’t stand out as a good deal on paper.
