Player who left Tottenham in 2022 spotted at Spurs’ win over Brighton on Saturday
Dele Alli was spotted back at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as Spurs beat Brighton on Saturday afternoon.
Ange Postecoglou’s side picked up a 2-1 win over the Seagulls thanks to goals from Pape Matar Sarr and Brennan Johnson.
Spurs fell behind in the 17th minute after Pascal Gross tucked away a penalty following a rare error from Micky van de Ven.
But they battled back in the second half and Johnson’s late winner led to jubilant scenes in north London at the full-time whistle.
One man who was part of the celebrations was Dele Alli, who was spotted watching on at his old home.

Dele spotted back at Tottenham
In a video posted on , Dele can be seen waving at some Tottenham supporters after being spotted in the crowd.
Journalist also confirmed that Dele was at the game as the midfielder was sitting behind the press box.
Of course, Dele left Tottenham back in January 2022 as he made the switch to Everton.
The Englishman will always be a fan favourite at Spurs after his brilliant performances between 2016 and 2019.
He’s back at Everton after a loan spell in Turkey last term and will undoubtedly be targeting a return to action following some difficulties off the pitch.

You can’t help but wonder how a prime Dele would have performed in this current Spurs side.
The midfielder thrived in an attacking set-up under Mauricio Pochettino and you’d imagine we would’ve enjoyed playing under someone like Ange Postecoglou.
Nevertheless, for the time being, Dele will be fully focused on making a return to action at Goodison Park. But it’s brilliant to see him supporting his old side.
