Player who left Tottenham in 2021 was in the away end at Old Trafford yesterday

Danny Rose was seemingly with the Tottenham Hotspur supporters at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon.

That’s according to 90 Min’s Sean Walsh, who claims the former Spurs defender was in attendance as Tottenham picked up a point at Manchester United yesterday.

Rose left Spurs on a free transfer back in the summer of 2021 after his contract expired.

The Englishman will always be a fan-favourite at Tottenham due to his exceptional performances under Mauricio Pochettino at left-back.

He was part of arguably Tottenham’s best side of the Premier League era so far, with him and Kyle Walker emerging as two of the best full-backs in the league between 2015 and 2017.

The 33-year-old wasn’t quite the same player after a couple of knee injuries in 2017 and eventually slipped down the pecking order under Pochettino’s successor Jose Mourinho.

But the defender will always have a soft spot for his former club after spending the best part of 12 years in north London.

And it seems that Rose was in attendance as Spurs picked up a 2-2 draw at Man United on Sunday.

Rose was in the away end at Old Trafford

Walsh took to on Sunday evening and claimed that Rose was sat with the Tottenham supporters at Old Trafford yesterday.

He wrote: “Danny Rose was sat with the Tottenham fans at Old Trafford for this afternoon’s game!”

Tottenham will undoubtedly be slightly frustrated after only picking up a point at United yesterday.

Postecoglou’s men were by far the better side on the whole but were forced to come back from behind on two occasions.

Richarlison and Rodrigo Bentancur were on target to ensure Spurs left Manchester with a point.

But considering the fact that Spurs were without Heung-Min Son, James Maddison, Dejan Kulusevski, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr, it was an encouraging display.

Rose has already lauded Postecoglou for the impact he’s made behind the scenes at Tottenham since his arrival.

You’d imagine that the former Spurs would have been impressed with their display yesterday too, despite failing to pick up all three points.
