Player let go by Nuno now a free agent for 2nd time after leaving Tottenham in 2021

According to , Serge Aurier has now become a free agent for a second time, after leaving Tottenham in 2021.
What’s the story?
Well, the Ivory Coast international saw his contract terminated a year early back in August, after Nuno Espirito Santo decided he was no longer needed in north London.
Aurier eventually teamed up with Unai Emery at Villarreal, where he helped the Yellow Submarine reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
However, the Spanish side have decided against triggering the one-year extension option in his contract, and the 29-year-old will now experience free agency once again, less than 12 months since leaving Tottenham.
In total, Aurier made appearances for Villarreal, providing assists.
In our view, it must be tough for the Ivorian to have been let go twice in less than a year, although from Tottenham’s point of view, it made sense to part ways with Emerson Royal and Matt Doherty already at the club.
Tottenham still need long-term Aurier replacement

Despite Emerson and Doherty impressing towards the end of last season, Antonio Conte still needs an outstanding option in that role.
The Italian seems to have identified Middlesbrough right-back Djed Spence as a solution, and that a £15m deal for the England Under-21 international could even be done this week.
In our view, the Londoner has the potential to become one of the best in the Premier League.

Spence shone for Nottingham Forest last season while on loan at the City Ground, helping them achieve promotion to the Premier League with goals and assists in appearances.
Specifically, the 21-year-old’s end product in the final third is particularly eye-catching, so he should thrive as a wing-back in Conte’s system.
Be sure to keep an eye on that situation, as a deal could be announced soon.
