The report has claimed that Dier, who can operate as a defender or as a midfielder, “has made it clear to Tottenham” that he wants to leave the Premier League club and move to Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich where he would get the chance to play with his former Spurs teammate Harry Kane.

In my view, Eric Dier is right to want to leave Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window, especially for Bayern Munich.
Bayern are one of the biggest and most successful clubs in the world and could win the Bundesliga and the UEFA Champions League this season.
Leaving Tottenham for Bayern would be a step-up for Dier, just as it was for Kane, and I support the 29-year-old’s desire to move to the German giants.
Dier has struggled for playing time at Spurs all season. He has made just one start and only three substitute appearances in the Premier League this campaign.
