Tottenham Hotspur youngster Alfie Devine was spotted battling it out with Oliver Skipp in first-team training yesterday.
Antonio Conte has been putting his players through their paces at Hotspur Way once again after some time off.
Spurs had a total of 11 players who headed off to the World Cup in Qatar, with five of them having been knocked out of the tournament already.
With six stars still aiming for World Cup glory this month, Conte has been working with a reduced squad in north London.
The likes of Emerson Royal, Dejan Kulusevski and Clement Lenglet have remained at Hotspur Way but there have been plenty of youngsters in first-team training recently. And the ‘quality’ Devine was spotted battling Skipp for the ball at training yesterday.

Devine spotted with Skipp in Tottenham training
Devine has only made one appearance for Spurs’ first-team after completing a switch from Wigan back in 2020.
The highly-rated youngster scored a memorable goal in the FA Cup on his full debut, becoming the club’s youngest ever player and scorer at just a few days older than 17.
recently claimed last week that Devine is now likely to head out on loan in January.
But the 18-year-old has been mixing it with the first-team over the past week and can be seen competing with Skipp for the ball yesterday.

Of course, Skipp is another player who has come through the academy set-up in north London and has managed to break into the first-team.
It will only benefit Devine to be training alongside the likes of Skipp, a player he can learn plenty from.
The talented midfielder has been putting in some impressive displays for Tottenham’s youth sides, managing 18 goals and five assists in 58 appearances from the middle of the park.
It seems like the right time for Devine to head out on loan in January but it’s promising to see him mixing it with the senior players.
Tottenham are set to play in two friendly matches during the World Cup break as Conte prepares his players for the return of the Premier League, according to .
They will face-off against Scottish outfit Motherwell behind closed doors at Hotspur Way this Friday, before a home match in-front of the fans against Nice on December 21.
Devine will be hoping to get a chance to impress Conte in the upcoming friendlies, while Skipp will be aiming to get some much-needed minutes under his belt.
