Defender Sergio Reguilon has been pictured back in Tottenham training ahead of this Sunday’s crucial clash with Norwich.
Earlier this month, before the game with Liverpool at Anfield, Spurs boss Antonio Conte said: “Sergio Reguilon is not available.
“He hasn’t had a training session with us. Honestly I don’t know, it’s only two weeks until the end of the season and I’m not sure if he’ll be back,”, .
But Spurs have tweeted out some photos of training ahead of Sunday’s game, in which they only need a draw to seal fourth spot.
Reguilon back in Tottenham training
Spurs have been doing some gym work before the big game and Reguilon can be spotted pictured among the group listening to a team talk from Conte in the final snap below.
Tottenham have had some injury blows at the back of late, and perhaps Reguilon will still not be fit to play any part at Carrow Road.
Even having him on the bench would be a boost on such a big afternoon, although the attention will be on Tottenham’s attackers in truth.
They are the ones who need to break down Dean Smith’s already relegated side and Heung-min Son is still in the chase for the Golden Boot.
It could be an ideal afternoon if Son gets the goals to fire Spurs to fourth and an early goal would be great to settle the nerves.
When Conte gave his update on Reguilon, we wondered whether the Spaniard had played his final game for the club, but he may yet make another appearance this season.
