Photo: ‘Excellent’ £36m player got dragged across the pitch in Liverpool training yesterday

Liverpool are busy at work at their AXA Training Centre in Kirkby ahead of their game against Leeds United and Ibrahima Konate looks like he had a bit of fun during the session yesterday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side have some newfound hope in the Premier League title race thanks to Harry Kane and Tottenham. The Spurs man scored a brace to help his side pick up a win over Manchester City and the difference between the top two is down to just six points now with Liverpool having a game in hand.
The Reds will fancy themselves to win their extra game and reduce the gap to just three points. That makes the game between Liverpool and Manchester City in April a nail-biting affair.
Konate is behind Virgil van Dijk and Joel Matip in the pecking order at the moment but the Frenchman could yet prove to be an important player for Liverpool in this title race.

Klopp, Mo Salah, Thiago and Liverpool’s other big stars including Konate in training yesterday.
The Reds have had a hard few days. They weren’t at their best against Inter Milan in the San Siro and they were made to work hard by Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday.
However, their class showed in the end and they picked up convincing wins in both games.
The training session on Monday involved a lot of recovery. Konate decided to lie on the ground for a bit, but a picture released by Liverpool showed that he was dragged across the pitch by Adrian. We must admit, it made us chuckle when we first saw it.

Konate is proving to be a brilliant signing for Liverpool.
The Reds triggered his and bought him from RB Leipzig before the start of the season. Klopp has given him all the time he needed to settle in and his recent performances have been top class.
Konate started for Liverpool against Inter Milan in the Champions League last week. It really was a difficult game but the Frenchman was absolutely brilliant throughout his 90 minutes on the pitch.
His performances earned him immense praise from and Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher, who both labelled his display at the San Siro as ‘‘. He will surely be a massive player for the Reds in the coming years.
