Photo: Conte calls up 19-year-old forward who creates chances ‘out of very little’ to Spurs training
𒊎Tottenham Hotspur have resumed training following their mid-season break.
𝕴The Spurs players not involved at the World Cup were given time off by Antonio Conte and his staff.
🐷On Monday, a number of those players not taking part in the tournament returned to Hotspur Way.

ꦗAs per , they were put through the sort of drills and tests that occur on the first day of pre-season.
💮Afterwards, the squad headed out to the pitches to take part in ball work.
🐓With quite a few Spurs players at the World Cup, Conte called up a number of youth players.
꧟This is partly to make up the numbers and partly to take a closer look at who’s been impressing in the academy teams.
🉐One player who made the cut is Yago Santiago, who has been enjoying a superb season at Under-21 level.

‘Will be very important’
🎃Santiago joined Tottenham from Celta Vigo in 2019 and has shown plenty of signs of promise at development squad level.
ﷺThe 19-year-old has even been described , due to his level of ability.
🏅Santiago has made 20 appearances this season, registering four goals and one assist.
