Glasgow Rangers icon Allan McGregor made his 100th European appearance for the Ibrox club on Thursday night.
The 40-year-old is a Rangers legend, having spent 16 of years of his senior career with the Ibrox club across two spells.
On Thursday night, McGregor hit his European century as he started for the Gers away at Braga.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s charges took on the Portuguese outfit in their Europa League quarter-final first leg.
Sadly it didn’t go to plan for Rangers, who fell to a 1-0 defeat on the night.
The Ibrox outfit had plenty of the ball but failed to work a single shot on target.
Meanwhile, Braga broke the deadlock five minutes before the break through Abel Ruiz’s fine finish.
The hosts also hit the post and had a goal disallowed during the 90 minutes.
Nonetheless, the tie is far from over and Rangers will surely fancy their chances at Ibrox in the second leg.
And if any player can have a say in the Gers progressing, it’s their iconic veteran in between the sticks.
Indeed, one Braga fan went so far as to deem McGregor their idol, despite Rangers not being their club.

“Wait and see what happens”
McGregor is out of contract in the summer, leading to speculation about his future.
Speaking on BT Sport pre-Braga, he insisted his focus is on the remainder of the season before he makes a call on his future.
However, he acknowledged that a Europa League medal would be a good way to sign off from the professional game.
“You just need to wait and see what happens,” McGregor told Alan Hutton on BT Sport, via the .
“At this stage it’s not year by year, it’s month by month, and day by day, you see how you feel.
“I’m not really thinking about it just now, I’m just thinking about the game on Thursday (Braga).”
Hutton then asks could it get better than ending his career with a European final.
A smirking McGregor replied: “Well, if you won it that would be good, aye.”
