Arsenal will look to end 2022 on a high note when they head to the south coast to face Brighton on New Year’s Eve.
Mikel Arteta’s previously oft-maligned ‘process’ finally seems to be coming to fruition and reaping dividends.
Arsenal have been superb this season and remain five points clear of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

The Gunners came from behind to beat West Ham United 3-1 on Boxing Day.
Meanwhile, the Seagulls beat Southampton by the same scoreline to keep them in pursuit of European qualification.
Arteta has been putting his Arsenal players through their paces in training ahead of the match.
On Thursday, the Gunners media team shared photos of the squad’s latest session at London Colney.
Quite a few academy players featured, including Kido Taylor-Hart, one of Hale End’s top talents.

The 20-year-old hasn’t had the greatest of years.
A year ago, Taylor-Hart was in great form, only for a groin injury to halt his progress.
And this season, he sadly hasn’t featured much either. He has just four outings to his name in 2022-23 so far.
Nonetheless, Taylor-Hart is an ‘extraordinary’ talent with ‘lots of admirers behind the scenes at Arsenal’, according to Charles Watts.
He has even earned comparisons to Leroy Sane due to his blistering pace and technical abilities, as per .
And seeing him feature once again in first-team training bodes well for the year ahead.
Arsenal gem inspired by Serge Gnabry
Taylor-Hart has spoken of how he looks up to former Arsenal youth star Serge Gnabry and is inspired by his style of play.

Admitting he was never the most clinical of players, Taylor-Hart told the : “The moment that made me realise that was when I was away with England Under-16s and I wasn’t called back after a tournament.
“They told me I didn’t take a single shot in the whole tournament and that I need to become more deadly in the final third.
“Since then, I’ve been working on adding that clinical side to my game – and I think it’s paying off!
“Serge Gnabry is a player I really look up to in that regard.
“He was always a very talented player here at Arsenal, but he never put up crazy numbers and over time he’s become more direct, aggressive and sharp with his runs and shot selection.
“I want to add that to my game too.”
