Phillips and Raphinha hands Marcelo Bielsa double injury boost ahead of Spurs clash

Leeds United have potentially been handed a double boost ahead of this Saturday lunchtime’s clash with Tottenham Hotspur.

Whites duo were caught in a video entering the training field alongside the rest of the first-team squad, hinting at a potential return this afternoon.

The Brazilian has been out since the victory over Manchester City after picking up a thigh injury, meanwhile, Phillips has missed just last week’s loss to Brighton and Hove Albion due to a minor knee issue

Speaking about the duo in his pre-match press conference, Marcelo Bielsa claimed they have been getting assessed on a daily basis in the run-up to the clash with Spurs.

Bielsa said: “Their presence is subject to an evaluation carried out on a daily basis.”
