‘Phenomenal’ striker has just decided he doesn’t want to join West Ham this summer 

West Ham United have reportedly been handed a major blow in their attempts to sign a new striker for Julen Lopetegui.

It’s no secret that West Ham are in the market for fresh options in attack, with Danny Ings’ future at the London Stadium uncertain amid interest from Southampton.

Michail Antonio has also struggled for goals of late, particularly in the Premier League where he’s netted just 11 times over🐈 the past two seasons.

West Ham have been linked with moves for a host of strikers as a result and Julen Lopetegui is evidently keen to bolster his frontline. 

But according to reports in France, one option for the Hammers has decided aꦏgainst a move to east London.

Georges Mikautadze snubs West Ham move

According to , West Ham have launched the ‘most important’ offer to sign Georges Mikautadze this summer. 

But the FC Metz striker has opted against a move to the London Stadium due to the Hamme🌟rs missing out on qualifying for Europe next term.

It’s claimed that West Ham are ‘out of the race’ in the striker’s mജind, with Monaco and AS Roma now expressing interest.

Mikautadze’s impressive Euro 2024 stats

Despite Georgia’s exit in the last 16 of Euro 2024, Mikautadze proved to be oneꦯ of the stars of the tourn♔ament.

The striker bagged three times and pr𒆙ovided one assist in four appearances at the tournament in Germany.

His impressive form at the Euros came after a prolific season with FZ Metz, where he scored💃 14 times in 31 appearances for the Ligue 1 outfit.

Lauded as a ‘’ striker, Mikautadze wo𒅌uld have represented an exciting option for West Ham and at 23, his best years areꦺ very much ahead of him. 

But if recent reports prove to be true, Lopetegui may be forced to look elsewhere in search f🔯or a new striker.
