‘Phenomenal’ striker could fancy joining Tottenham Hotspur in January
Serhou Guirassy could fancy a move to Ange Postecoglou’s Tottenham Hotspur in the January transfer window.
That is according to journalist Paul Brown, who has given his take on speculation linking Guirassy with a transfer to Spurs.
So, what has been reported about Tottenham Hotspur and Serhou Guirassy? Let’s take a look.
Tottenham Hotspur could be appealing to Serhou Guirassy
Well, Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with VfB Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy in the January transfer window.
reported in late December that Tottenham are competing with AC Milan for the signing of Guirassy.
The Sun reported last month that Manchester United are keen on the striker, adding that the VfB Stuttgart star would prefer a move to Spurs.

Journalist Paul Brown has now given his take on the situation. He has said that the 27-year-old Guinea international striker, who has been described , could be tempted to join Spurs in January.
Brown told : “I think there might be a lot of clubs coming in for him and it’ll be interesting to see whether he decides he fancies a move or not, but I certainly think that going to Spurs would interest him.
“He’s likely to get a lot of playing time there, they seem to be a club going places and it wouldn’t surprise me if they sneaked into the Champions League again this season if they can get some players back fit and keep their momentum going.
“So I think they’d be quite an attractive proposition for someone like Guirassy, and I’m pretty sure he is on their list.”
My View: January transfer unlikely after Timo Werner deal
In my view, Tottenham Hotspur are unlikely to sign Serhou Guirassy in the January transfer window. That is because the North London club are bringing in Timo Werner.
have reported that Tottenham have agreed a loan deal with RB Leipzig over former Chelsea forward Werner.
I do not think that Spurs would bring in another player who can play upfront, even though Werner did not have the best of times at Chelsea when he played as a striker.
Guirassy has made 12 starts and two substitute appearances in the Bundesliga for VfB Stuttgart this summer. He has scored 17 goals and given one assist in those games.
