‘Phenomenal’ £25m midfielder says he’s ‘always been a Spurs fan’
Tottenham Hotspur were previously linked with Alex Scott on numerous occasions, including during the summer.
Last year, Alasdair Gold Spurs fans to “keep an eye” on their club potentially moving for the young midfielder.
However, Tottenham failed to get their hands on Scott. The 20-year-old ended up moving from Bristol City to Bournemouth for a reported £25million fee.
Although Spurs missed out on Scott, the player himself retains a soft spot for the North Londoners, reiterating that he supports the Lilywhites.

Scott, speaking on YouTube channel alongside some of his club teammates, admitted that he has “always been a Spurs fan”.
When the presenters asked the players who they supported, Scott gave two thumbs up and said “Tottenham”.
“All the time?” Scott was asked. To which he replied: “I’ve always been a Spurs fan”.
Then, when asked whether he would consider coming to Tottenham, Scott jokingly replied: “What?”
The conversation moved on as Max Aarons was then asked who he supported (Chelsea, for those who’d like to know).
Tottenham will no doubt still be keeping tabs on Alex Scott – TBR View
Although Tottenham missed out on Scott in the summer, that’s not to say they can’t try again in the coming year or two.
Scott’s time at Bournemouth so far has sadly been plagued with injury, having had problems with since his move.
Let’s hope he recovers quickly and fully, and can properly get his Cherries career under way. Then, if he does particularly well, who knows what the next career step would entail.
Scott is a very exciting young prospect who is highly rated in the game, and no doubt clubs like Spurs will still be keeping tabs on him to see how he gets on.
For instance, journalist Ben Jacobs previously said Scott is a “phenomenal talent, with tremendous potential and very mature for his age”.
