Peter Crouch says Tottenham-linked defender is a “joy to watch”

Peter Crouch gave Fulham defender Joachim Andersen a positive three-word verdict after his display on Friday, amid reported interest from Tottenham.

Fulham crashed to a 1-0 defeat yesterday at home to Wolves in the Premier League.

Adama Traore scored a 92nd minute winner to snatch three points for the visitors, leaving the hosts stuck in the relegation places in a precarious position.

Despite enduring a difficult season, Andersen has been one of their brightest sparks.

The 24-year-old centre-back has been a star performer at Craven Cottage this year during his season-long loan from French club Lyon.

, Spurs, West Ham United and Leicester City are all interested in potential signing the £25million-rated ace this summer.

Crouch described Andersen as a “joy to watch” on during his post-match analysis of Fulham against Wolves (10:25, 10 April).

TBR’s View:

Andersen may have been on the losing team last night, but he stood out for all the right reasons in the Fulham XI.

He was strangely his team’s chief creator for large spells of the match, as he sprayed long diagonal passes up the field with pinpoint precise and looked a calming influence.

It’s no surprise to see the Denmark international receive interest from teams higher up the Premier League, and he could be a great option for around £25million this summer.
