Peter Crouch makes prediction for Tottenham against Chelsea
Peter Crouch has predicted Tottenham to suffer defeat on Thursday night against Chelsea.
Spurs host London rivals Chelsea in a Premier League fixture and a win for either side will lift them up to sixth in the table above Everton.
Jose Mourinho’s Spurs go into the match off the back of back-to-back defeats in the league to Brighton and Liverpool.
Meanwhile, new Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has started his Stamford Bridge reign with four points from games against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Burnley.
The two London clubs drew 0-0 in reverse league meeting, while in the Carabao Cup they couldn’t be separate in normal time and Spurs progressed on penalties.
Ex-Spurs forward and pundit Crouch feels though that his former club are going to slip up against Chelsea.
“It feels like Chelsea are in a better moment. I think Tottenham without Harry Kane does feel so much different. I know it’s only one player, but he brings so much to that team and [Heung-Min] Son doesn’t look the same, and creatively they don’t look as good. So, I’d have to go perhaps Chelsea will win that one,”

TBR’s View:
With talisman Kane missing tonight against Chelsea, Spurs are severely weakened in attack and they can’t solely rely on Son to find the answer.
It’s likely that the home side are going to be organised defensively and look to soak up Chelsea pressure, as the visitors have struggled at certain parts in the season breaking teams down.
It’s a huge match for both teams, as the winners are going to feel they are firmly back in the race for the top four positions and the losers will be extremely disheartened.
