Peter Crouch has just made a ‘strong’ Tottenham vs Chelsea score prediction

Tottenham Hotspur take on Chelsea in the Premier League on Monday, and Peter Crouch has revealed his prediction for the game.

Mauricio Pochettino returns to his old club for the first time since he was sacked back in 2019. It will be an emotional moment for him, but he would love nothing more than to get a win over Tottenham. Crouch, however, doesn’t think that will happen.

Peter Crouch makes ‘strong’ Tottenham vs Chelsea prediction

Tottenham vs Chelsea is a massive game for both sets of fans every year, but Spurs haven’t really had a lot of joy in this fixture, have they?

The North Londoners have won just two of their last 13 games against the Blues. That’s a dreadful record, but for the first time in years, Tottenham go into the game as the absolute favourites.

Spurs are one of the best sides in the country right now. They are unbeaten in the Premier League, started this weekend on top of the table and look a completely transformed side under Ange Postecoglou.

Chelsea, on the other hand, are 14th in the Premier League table, at the time of writing. They have won just three of their first 10 games and are already 14 points behind Spurs.

That’s probably why Peter Crouch thinks it will be an easy win for his old side on Monday.

Speaking about the derby at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Crouch said on his : “I’m strong for Spurs here. I’m 3-0 Spurs, I’m going.”

Spurs can’t be complacent

Chelsea have been awful this season, but Tottenham can’t just go into the game expecting to batter them.

The Blues have played just two top teams so far this season – Liverpool and Arsenal – and they were really good in both of those games. That tells you that they step it up in the big fixtures, and the derby against Tottenham is as big as any game can get.

However, if Tottenham manage to play at their best, they should be able to get the better of Chelsea on Monday without too much trouble.

Spurs fans would absolutely love that – not just because it’s Chelsea but also because it’s their old boss Pochettino.
