Peter Crouch delivers verdict on Tottenham pair Harry Winks and Dele Alli
Former Tottenham striker Peter Crouch has told the that he believes it’s time for Dele Alli to leave Tottenham – and has admitted he’s worried for another midfielder.
Alli has fallen way out of favour under Jose Mourinho and wasn’t even in the squad for yesterday’s 2-0 defeat against Leicester City.
The 24-year-old has played four times in the Premier League this season, with three of those outings coming from the bench.
Alli arrived at Tottenham in 2015, costing £5 million from MK Dons. He has scored 64 goals and claimed 56 assists in 232 outings for Spurs.

Now he faces a fight for his place, however, and Crouch thinks the time has come for him to force a move away.
The ex-talisman has also expressed concern about Harry Winks and his involvement in the team this season.
Like Alli, the midfielder has also found himself out of favour, starting just three Premier League matches this season.
Crouch thinks both face a fight for their futures at Tottenham.
“It’s time for him to go. I don’t like it when good players languishing on the sidelines and Alli has too much ability for it to not be utilised.
“I am worried about Harry Winks too, and wonder whether he needs a fresh start.
“Back to Alli though and if he doesn’t move soon, his career will stagnate because I think the fact Jose Mourinho didn’t include him on the bench yesterday told you everything you need to know.
“There is no future for him in north London with Jose Mourinho in charge.
TBR View – Winks and Alli both on borrowed time
Mourinho is still in the process of reshaping his squad and making his own mark and any players deemed surplus must be moved on.
The pair of Winks and Alli are far too good to be sat doing nothing on the fringes and a move of some sort must be identified.

Both are young so loan moves could work in the short-term.
If Mourinho fancies a raid on the transfer market himself, however, it seems sensible to arguably cash in on both.
Alli earns at Tottenham, with Winks taking home
Those funds could be used elsewhere and Mourinho has a decision to make during the January transfer window.
