Perry Groves praises Arsenal and Tottenham target Dominic Solanke
The player in question is Dominic Solanke, who was in impressive form for Bournemouth last season.
In June, reported that 𓆉Arsenal had identified the 26-year-old as a Benjamin Sesko alternative.
However, Spurs have now emerged as suitors, Fabrizio 💝Romano reporting that they are now mulling over a move for the England man.
Groves, speaking on talkSPORT, ꦫsaid he ܫ“wouldn’t be averse” to Solanke at Arsenal, adding that he would be an upgrade on Richarlison at Tottenham.
“In the first s🌊eason in the Premier League, I think he got six, just looked all right, and he has gone onto a different level,” said Groves.
“So, for the way that Postecoglou wants to play and his highꦰ press that he does, but his all-round game has improved and his finishing has improved. He has got 🌸more clinical.
“And I mentioned it about Arsenal obviously needing a centre-f𒅌orward, and it’s been talked about Ivan Toney, and I actually sai😼d about Isak, about Osimhen.
“And I actually did say I wouldn’t be adverse to Dominic Solanke. I got a bit of stick from the Arsenal fans, but I ♊said I wouldn’t be averse to Dominic Solanke.
“He𝐆 is sort of at t💧he right age, 26, 27. Well, he’s an upgrade on Richarlison.”
Solanke boasts £65m price tag
Solanke has cꦉertainly gone from strength to strength in the Premier League for Bournemouth, and this summer would be the best opportunity for pl꧂ayer and club to make the most of their high stock.
It has been reported that the Cherries want £65million for Solanke,🌊 sﷺo it remains to be seen whether Arsenal or Tottenham will make their move, or at least try to negotiate the fee down.
