Perry Groves praises form of Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka
Perry Groves has praised Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka for his recent form and has spoken about his reported contract talks with the club.
The 18-year-old has made a serious breakthrough to the first-team squad this campaign and is now impressing as a regular in Mikel Arteta’s side.
He’s played 25 senior games cross all competitions this season, scoring three goals and supplying eight assists in return.
The English speed machine is a skilful winger by trade that loves to attack, but he’s made a name for himself at the Emirates Stadium slotting in at left-back and looks in control of that position.
, Arsenal are in talks with Saka about a new contract as his current deal at the Emirates Stadium expires at the end of the season.
The report explains that there is interest from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Bayern Munich
Former Arsenal attacker Groves is advising Saka to keep his head down by just focusing on minutes and suggested handing him a significant deal may be the wrong way to approach his contract talks.
“He’s playing very well, he’s playing out of position. He just needs to play as many games as possible, he’s 18,”
“He’s not going to call the shots to Arsenal football club no chance, he will sign a decent contract for Arsenal. Let’s hope they don’t give too much too soon.

TBR’s View:
Saka’s emergence to the Arsenal side has been one of the big success stories of the season for the North London club and it’s vital they extend his deal beyond the summer.
His long-term role is unlikely to be at full-back and he’s demonstrated what a threat he is going forward, but there is no reason for Arteta to move him when he’s in this kind of form.
Kieran Tierney’s return from injury should see him recalled at left-back, with Saka pushed into a more advanced role and it looks like he’s ready to continue playing an important role
