‘Perfection’: Trent Alexander-Arnold raves about £407,000-a-week Newcastle-linked star

The January transfer window is right around the corner and the biggest player Newcastle United have been linked with is arguably Real Madrid star Eden Hazard.
Spanish outlet revealed last month that the new Magpies owners are optimistic about signing the Belgian superstar following his struggles in Madrid. The report claimed that the Galacticos will not block a move if Newcastle’s offer convinces Hazard in the January transfer window.
The Belgian was one of the best players in the Premier League during his time at Chelsea. He was absolutely unstoppable at times and that is why Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold rates him very highly.
Here’s what the Reds defender said about the reported Newcastle United target…
Trent Alexander-Arnold on Newcastle-linked Hazard: An all-round exceptional player
Asked to name his toughest ever opponent, Alexander-Arnold said on : “Hazard!
“Very skilful, quick, didn’t really have many weaknesses to be honest. He’d mastered his game to perfection.
“By the time I came up against him, he was an all-round player, exceptional in many aspects of the game. So really difficult to deal with. So I’d say him.”

TBR View:
Hazard is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world. However, things just haven’t worked out for him at Real Madrid.
Since his move from Chelsea to the Bernabeu in the summer of 2019, the Belgian has scored just five goals in 57 appearances. That is a shocking record for any attacker, let alone someone who is earning an eye-watering £407,000 every week. ()
Real Madrid want to get him off their wage bill and Newcastle would love a superstar signing. That makes this a perfect deal but whether Hazard would be open to leaving Spain for a relegation battle in England is an entirely different story.
If Newcastle can sign him, they should, but it’s extremely unlikely next month.
