‘Perfect’, ‘Sound that’; Some Everton fans see big positive in red card decision
Some Everton fans can see a real positive in the FA’s decision on Lucas Digne’s red card. The left-back was sent off against Southampton at the weekend.
The FA have made their decision on Lucas Digne’s red card at the weekend and it’s good new for Everton. The full-back was initially suspended for three games but the Toffees argued against that.
t. With that in mind, they wanted the ban reduced to one game, which they saw as fair. And it turns out that the FA agrees.

Digne will now only miss one game – the weekend trip to Newcastle United – and be back to face Manchester United the game after. And several Everton fans see that as a real win.
That’s because it gives them a chance to see Niels Nkounkou in action before Digne returns for the big clash against Manchester United.
You can check out their reactions below:
So just one match then for Digne which means he’ll be back for the match vs United 👍🏽 in the meantime we’ll get to watch Nkounkou do his thing this weekend 😁

We get to see Nkounkou lighting up the left again and don't have to rely on him for more than 1 game, perfect

Ill take that like, Nkounkou and Gordon on the left for Newcastle.

I'm looking forward to watching NKOUNKOU play he's quality and can only get better.

TBR View:
Hard to argue with them. If Nkounkou performs well and they beat Newcastle, this will be a major win for the Toffees. Resting a key player like Digne is hardly the end of the world, either, given this season’s packed schedule.
Carlo Ancelotti would rather have the choice himself, of course. But from the position they were in – missing Digne for three games – this is a real win.
It’ll be interesting to see if Ancelotti does go with Nkounkou, though. He may prefer Fabian Delph instead, given his experience in the position. But the fans are clearly excited to see Nkounkou in the Premier League. The weekend will tell us just how ready is he for that test.
