‘Perfect Martinelli mentor’ – Arsenal fans react to Coutinho and Guendouzi swap deal rumours

Arsenal have been linked with a move for Philippe Coutinho this weekend, with reporting that a potentials swap deal is on the cards with Matteo Guendouzi and Gunners fans have reacted to the news.

Coutinho is expected to move away from the Catalan giants this summer after falling well down the pecking order.

Guendouzi, meanwhile, finds himself in a similar boat following a falling out with Mikel Arteta earlier in the season.

, then, of a potential swap seem to make sense. However, there are hurdles to overcome, such as Coutinho’s wages, and if any move would just involve a loan or permanent switches for now.

Those hurdles seem to be the topic of discussion among Gunners fans online, too.

A number of Arsenal supporters have taken to Twitter to have their say. And while it seems some are open to Coutinho arriving, there are a few cautious Gooners out there as well it seems.

I would rather have Coutinho than no CAM. We are struggling to create much without an CAM. I would prefer a younger CAM but Coutinho is better than nothing.
