Pedro Porro now reacts on Twitter after seeing what Tim Sherwood has just said about him
Pedro Porro has reacted to Tim Sherwood’s latest comments on the Tottenham Hotspur defender.
Sherwood has doubled down on his assessments of Pedro Porro during the early stages of his Spurs career.
The former Tottenham manager slammed the Spaniard on his debut against Leicester City back in February last year, claiming he was ‘so bad it’s unbelievable’.
Porro hit back at Sherwood in some style and insisted he would make the former Spurs boss eat his words.
“For me, it makes no difference,” he told in March last year. “I don’t know him. I don’t know what had happened for him to speak.
“People passed it on, saying he had spoken badly about me. But he won’t be the first who then had to shut his mouth.”

Sherwood has since admitted that he’s been impressed with Porro’s displays this season. But after the Spaniard’s performance at Old Trafford on Sunday, he’s doubled down on his initial comments.
“I was very critical early doors of Porro, and I still am, he’s not a good defender, and he will let you down, but going forwards his range of passing is incredible and the manager is using him to his strengths,” he told .
And Porro has reacted to Sherwood’s latest comments on the defensive side of his game.
Porro reacts after seeing Sherwood’s latest comments
Porro took to , formerly known as Twitter, on Wednesday morning after reading Sherwood’s comments.
The 24-year-old simply replied with two emojis, suggesting he finds the former Spurs boss’ verdict amusing.
Porro has been a standout performer for Tottenham this term and has racked up eight assists in the Premier League.
The Spaniard has also made huge improvements on the defensive side of his game, despite his latest display at Old Trafford.

He struggled to deal with the threat of Marcus Rashford and was often isolated 1v1 against the winger. But he still registered an assist and provided a real threat for Spurs in the final third.
Porro has also kept some of the best forwards in the league quiet this season, including the likes of Jeremy Doku and Luis Diaz.
Sherwood can’t seem to make his mind up about Porro after seemingly performing a U-turn on his initial verdict. But it’s brilliant to see Porro hitting back once again and based on his performances this term, he has every right to do just that.
