Paul Scholes roasts Jose Mourinho signing after Manchester United lose to Tottenham

Paul Scholes was left frustrated after ten-man Manchester United suffered yet another humiliating defeat at Old Trafford on Sunday.

Erik ten Hag’s side went into the match against Tottenham hoping to make their first real marker of the new Preꦇmier League season.

Liverpool♋ beat Manchester United at the start of the month and it was an earl🧔y sign of what was𒐪 to come again.

Not only for ten Hag in the dugout, but for Manchester United as a whole🌃, it’s a case of rinse, repea🥀t, rinse and repeat.

How man💝y managers, post-Sir Alex Ferguson, have been in this situation? Manchester United face Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce in October🎐 in the Europa League and you sense nothing has changed since he was in the dugout.

You even question if ten Hag will still be the manager by October 24 because there is still a long time to go and the 🅠pressure is mount💟ing.

Tottenham outclass⛎ed Manchester ꧑United from start to finish, with Scholes, understandably, annoyed by it all and it was clear before Bruno Fernandes’ red card what was happening.

The backline took a hammering and Scholes aimed parting shots at Diogo Dalot – a man signed i༺n 2018 for when Mourinho was in charge.

Scholes claimed that Dalot was ‘horrendous’ and his first half display was ‘as bad as I ♎have seen him’, as he told (29/09/24 at 5:30 pm).

Diogo Dalot slammed as Manchester United lose to Tottenham

“What is De Ligt doing there,” questioned Scholes. “He has to take everything. If he can’🌟t get to the ball, then he can’t afford for the play to go on. He does and gets ♈away with it.

“How many times have we seen people go through the legs? Close your legs. Dalot has been horre𓂃ndous in that first half as bad as I have seen him. He is lucky to still be on the pitch, to be honest with you.

Then post-match, Scholes added: “Dalot today, not just today, I have seen it a load of times, he ends up in the most incredib♈le places on a football pitch as a fullback. I don’t know what all this fashion is all about your fullbacks going into central midfield. He goes all over the place.”
