Patience with Wolves ace Leander Dendoncker will eventually be worth it

Leander Dendoncker has certainly not enjoyed a blistering start to life at Wolverhampton Wanderers since he joined on loan in the summer.

The 23-year-old moved to Molineux on an initial loan and his move is set to become a permanent deal next year.

The versatile ace, who can play comfortably in midfield or defence, has had to be patient waiting for his chance and is still yet to feature in the Premier League.

But Wolves fans can expect to see the best of the highly-rated Belgium at some point this campaign and similarities can be drawn to Liverpool’s summer signing Fabinho.

Fabinho has been slowly integrated to the squad at Anfield by Jurgen Klopp and supporters were wondering if his £43.7million () was a waste of time at one point.

But a string of injuries has now seen the central midfielder break into the team and he looks like he could become a pivotal player for them.

Klopp showed faith to the Liverpool players that succeeded last season and summer addition Fabinho had to be phased in.

Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo is also showing faith to his back three and it may take an injury or suspension for Dendoncker to get his opportunity.

But Dendoncker is a technically gifted ace that is good enough to slot into a three-man defence and has looked the part in the two Carabao Cup appearances he has made.
