There has been plenty of speculation over the future of several Arsenal defenders this summer.

With the transfer window set to shut this evening, finalising moves for a few players is a priority for Mikel Arteta.

One of those players is Hector Bellerin, and .

Bellerin has been trying to leave Arsenal all summer, with several clubs interested in his signature.

There have been many twists and turns in Bellerin’s future this summer.

However, he’s clearly not in Arteta’s plans and

Bellerin to terminate Arsenal contract

The Catalan side are looking at new right-backs after allowing Sergino Dest to move to AC Milan.

Bellerin had a successful stint at Real Betis in Spain last summer, winning the Copa Del Rey.

He was in and out of Betis’ side in La Liga, making 32 appearances in all competitions.

Barcelona clearly saw enough quality in Bellerin’s first senior season in Spain to bring him to the Nou Camp.

Arsenal are also trying to offload two more right-backs before deadline day after terminating Bellerin’s contract.
