Paris Saint-Germain defender Stanley N’Soki would be a shrewd Newcastle signing

Newcastle United will reportedly step up their attempts to sign a left-back in January following an injury blow to Paul Dummett, as they are extremely light of senior options int heat position.

, the Magpies have checked out Paris Saint-Germain defender Stanley N’Soki and he was on their radar in the summer.

The report details that the North East club could use their European loan option to try bring the 19-year-old to St James’ Park.

Newcastle manager Rafael Benitez has had difficult in previous transfer windows in signing quality players, but may have reason to cheer if they manage to bring in PSG’s left-sided flyer.

N’Soki is a highly-rated ace that has played eight times already this season for PSG’s first team and is featuring alongside some of the world’s best players.

The teenage full-back has great pace and athleticism, while he often bombs forward into attack like most modern day left-backs.

Newcastle certainly need competition for Dummett in the squad and N’Soki would certainly give him a run for his money.

Another loan deal isn’t ideal for the long-term planning at the club, but having a promising talent in the squad for the second half of the season would be a major lift.
