‘Paratici is serious’: Some Tottenham fans love rumour about the future of two Spurs players
Tottenham may reportedly consider selling Matt Doherty and Eric Dier this summer – and some Spurs fans have been quick to praise their managing director or football Fabio Paratici after hearing the transfer rumour.
TalkSPORT journalist Alex Crook has that both Spurs players may be surplus to requirements under new Portuguese manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
Paratici, who’s recently been appointed to manage the club’s sporting operations, has a reputation for his transfer dealings.
It seems that he’s quickly winning over fans with some of the kind of transfer leaks that are being reported.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media believe it’s a right call for Doherty and Dier to be allowed to leave.
Doherty, 29, is a right-back that had a difficult debut year with the north London club last season.
He’s been reunited with his ex-boss Nuno this summer. However, it sounds like that doesn’t guarantee his future.
In contrast, Dier has been with Spurs since he joined back in 2014.
The 27-year-old was key during parts of the Mauricio Pochttino era, especially when he was an ever-present as a defensive midfielder.
But, the now-centre-back has lost his spot in the England squad due to his inconsistent form and can be targeted by the fanbase at times.
It’s going to be interesting to see where he stays amid rumours, as he captained the side on Wednesday in a pre-season game.
