Palmeiras academy staff tell Manchester City fans what to expect from Vitor Reis
Manchester City have been busy in the January transfer window, getting two signings over the line with another one said to be on the way.
On Monday night, Manchester City completed the signing of Abdukodir Khusanov from Lens on a four-and-a-half-year deal.
And on Tuesday morning, the Citizens announced the signing of Vitor Reis from Palmeiras on a♊ deal unti🐷l the summer of 2029.
Now, two individuals who played a large part in Reis’ development at the Brazilian club 🍰have told Man City fans what they can expect from the £29.6million man.

have published an article featuring quotes from Joao Paulo Sampaio, Palmeiras’ h🍰ead of academy, and Lucas Andrade, the club’s Under-20s coach.
Both spoke very highly of Reis and suggested that Man City fans have a lot to look forward to with regards 𝐆𓃲to the 19-year-old.
“I belie🐻ve he will have no trouble adapting to the Ci♋ty system,” began Andrade.
“Because here in the youth teams he was always expꦯosed to playing under risk, having 🥀to be involved in the build-up play while also defending efficiently, even in one-on-one situations.
“City work with small squads, so he could gain minu🃏tes and be very useful in the ꦜseason right from the start due to all the maturity and readiness he has to play.”
M�🦂�eanwhile, Sampaio said: “In terms of quality, he has it all, man.
“Technique, speed, courage, you name it. Tactically, he’s a leader, understands the game like few othe🐎rs🐈. And his mental strength is a joke. The kid is complete.”
What Tim Vickery has said about Vitor Reis
South American football expert Tim Vickery has also told Man City fans what they c🐻an expect from Reis.
Vickery claimed that the 19-year-old is similar to – and is modell💯ing his style of play on – the likes of Marquinhos and Thiago Silva.
“Palmeiras originally wanted to keep him for the Club World Cup but they are pragmatically ru𒈔n and the bid kept going u♕p,” said Vickery.
“This is City pushing the reset button. What have they seen? They have seen three things that they really li🔜ke about this player.
“You can s꧂ee the influence of Marquinhos and Thiago Silva, that is the centre back he wants to be. Classy on the ball, head up and can play out the 🌸back.
“Versatile defensively, he can operate in a back three or four. Happier on the right but has played෴ on the left.
“The other thing is leadership qualities 🧔and those aജre the things City have identified.”
