“I normally text family and stuff and I saw a text from Klopp, he said ‘congrats on 100 games a⛦nd here’s to 500 more’ or something like that.

I was like what’s he on about, 100? I’m on more than that! But I just checked the Instagram and 1🃏00 games, yeah. Proud, really proud.”

Jones continued: “He is on Instagram so he gets ဣto see it.

“But that’s what he’s like, he’s still in touch with the whole 📖team. He’s a great ma🍷n and he’s still loved by us.

“It was him who set up the team we’ve got now, the foundation was there alreaꦆdy and Slot’s just carried it on.”

Slot has helped Jones improve as a player, resul꧋ting in his brilliant form and an England call-up.
