‘Outstanding’ Tottenham player wanted by AC Milan, Inter and Juventus as bid made

Tottenham Hotspur are likely to be busy in the coming weeks as Ange Postecoglou looks to strengthen his squad’s ranks further.

Spurs have already made one new signing this summer in Archie Gray from Leeds United. In addition, Lucas Bergvall has finally arrived from Djurgarden.

It’s not just about incomings though. Tottenham will be also looking to offload players that are surplus to requirements to free up wages and squad spaces.

Now, one player on the fringes of Spurs’ first-team squad is said to be on the radar of Italy’s ‘big three’, with one having already made a bid.

Tottenham defender Emerson Royal wanted by AC Milan, Inter and Juventus

The player in question is Emerson Royal, who faces an increasingly uncertain future at Tottenham after struggling to force his way into the starting XI.

According to , AC Milan have sent Spurs a bid of €14million (just under £12million) for their full-back.

Tottenham are said to have rejected the approach for Emerson, who is also wanted by Inter Milan and Juventus.

Barcelona also have their former player in their sights and may enter the picture if they’re unable to clinch another loan deal for Joao Cancelo.

The Rossoneri are reportedly expected to return with a second bid in the region of €17-18million (£14.5-15.2million).

Emerson Royal unlikely to stay at Tottenham

Although Ange Postecoglou praised Emerson earlier this season, lauding his “outstanding” attitude and demeanour as per , he sadly hasn’t kicked on at Tottenham.

Emerson is certainly a talented player, hence the speculation linking him to Italy’s biggest clubs plus La Liga giants Barcelona.

Hopefully Tottenham can strike a deal with one of the interested parties and recoup as much as they can for a player who sadly hasn’t pulled up many trees at N17.
