‘Outstanding’ player holds transfer meeting with Arsenal with potential deal possible before deadline day

Such is the crisis of unavailability at Arsenal right now, Mikel Arteta was forced to name two goalkeepers on his bench during the club’s 1-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Jack Porter joined Neto on the Arsenal bench, a spot which would usually be reserved ൩for another attacking player who could change the game for Arteta.

Of course, as things stands, Arsenal lost another body for three games against Wolves owing to Myles Lewis-Skelly’s red card.

It remains to be seen if that decision is upheld by the PGMOL, and if it is, Arsenal’s position has become even more tricky, arg🐭uably through no fault of their own.

That being said, the Gunners can ease their woes before the transfer window slams shut in a week’s time, ꦿif they are able to recruit 🍸some attacking talent.

Arsenal hold transfer meeting with Sverre Nypan

But interestingly, the report also details that Nypan was in Lond♕on on Sunday, when he visited Arsenal.

Nypan was in Manchester on F🎐riday and th𒅌en visited Aston Villa with his team on Saturday too – a busy weekend for the Norwegian’s entourage.

But fortunately for Arsenal fans who are hoping for their side to sཧecure one of Europe’s best young midfielders – Arteta’s side are said to be ‘intensifying’ their pursuit right now.

Signing Nypan won’t stop Arsenal from recruiting a striker

Of course, there will be fans of the club meeting tౠhese reports with frustrations – why aren’t Arsenal prioritising a striker?

But signing Nypan fits perfectly with the club’s lo𒊎ng-term vision, and is unlikely to be disrupting any plans to add a striker this month, should that be a poss🌞ibility.

Manchester United were pushing to sign Nypan previously – it even looked like the Norwegian could be Ru෴ben Amorim’s first signing.

However, Arsenal have now stolen the march itꩵ seems, ready to fight off late in꧅terest from Girona and Villa.

He’s not a striker, but Nypan could certainly🐽 sit well alongside the likes of Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri in the future – three of Europe’s best youngsters.
