‘Outstanding’ player has so much respect for West Ham he’d think about joining them over two CL clubs – journalist

West Ham target Filip Kostic has turned down Champions League interest in his services during the summer transfer window.

claim that Kostic is weighing up his options as he gears up for potentially the final big contract of his career.

He is a free agent in a year’s time, and could sign a pre-contract deal with clubs outside of Germany at the beginning of January.

Kostic is at a Champions League club in the shape of Eintracht Frankfurt, but has turned down two other clubs dining at European football’s top table already this summer.

“Kostic has already turned down two offers from Champions League clubs,” said Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.

“He would consider West Ham United, such is his respect. But he wants to weigh up all his options because this would be his last big contract in his career at 29 years old.

“He’s got Champions League football guaranteed at Frankfurt.

“He’s also conscious he’s got four months until he can sign a pre-contract deal with a club outside the Germany. This decision is the biggest one he’s got left in his career.”

Former Frankfurt boss Adi Hutter called Kostic ‘‘, and has been exceptional down the left flank with Frankfurt.

That is an area of the pitch David Moyes really needs to strengthen, and it seems that there is still a chance they could get their man.

Kostic considering West Ham when he is not considering other Champions League clubs is a sign of their pulling power, and they will hope to get the deal over the line.
