‘Our own Haaland’: Some Manchester City fans wowed by 18-year-old’s latest display
A number of Manchester City fans have taken to Twitter to praise L🎶iam Delap’s latest superb performance for the Under-23🍸s.
The 18-year-old academy striker has been in sensational form this season, registering a staggering 20 goals and five assists in 18 appearances – botꦗh at ag🎶e and senior level.
Delap also scored on his senior debut for Pep Guardiola’s sideཧ back𒈔 in September, and is averaging a goal every 72 minutes in all competitions.

On Monday, City’s U23s ran out 5-0 🧸winners over their West Ham counterparts at the City Football Academy.
Although Col𒉰e Palmer stole the show with a hat-trick, Delap also impressed, fir⛦ing home his one-on-one effort for his tenth league goal in five games.
Like the senior team, City’s U23s are clear at the top of the ta🅰ble, Enzo Maresca’s side currently five points ahead of second-placed Blackburn at the Premier League 2 summ⛄it.
Here is what City fans made of the England Under-19 international’s latest efforts:
Liam Delap needs to be brought up to the first team. Honestly why not? Would it be that much of a burden to drop Jesus and play him next weekend? We have a comfortable 11 point lead and need to start experimenting strike options if we’re not going to break the bank f🐲or Haaland.
