One winner and loser as Jordan Ayew nears Crystal Palace loan move
According to the , Swansea City attacker Jordan Ayew is primed to agree to a season-long loan with Crystal Palace today.
The news will come as a boost for Crystal Palace’s forward line, but will be a bitter blow for Swansea as they will lose a key player while receiving no compensation inreturn.

The Eagles mainly relied on the goal scoring experts of star winger Wilfried Zaha and penalty specialist Luka Milivojevic last season.
The arrival of Jordan Ayew will ease the pressure on these players and add goalscoring punch to the south Londoners.
The Ghanian international was Swansea’s top scorer last campaign, with seven strikers, and is a versatile player who can fill in all across the forward line, from winger to centre forward.
Roy Hodgson will be delighted to secure the services of Ayew for the 2018/19 season, adding another impressive attacking option to the Palace squad.

Initially it was reported that Palace’s Jairo Riedewald would be heading to Wales as part of the Ayew deal, but the Independent claimed he has rejected the chance to play in the Championship and will not be moving to Swansea.
In addition to Graham Potter’s men missing out on Riedewald, the Swans will not be receiving a hefty transfer fee for Ayew’s services as the deal is only a loan.
This double blow of missing out on a young Palace prospect and a monetary boost will undoubtedly harm the Welsh side, leaving Swansea the weaker party in Jordan Ayew’s transfer.
