‘One to watch’: West Ham could spend £45m on ‘wonderful’ player before January ends

West Ham United are being tipped to make a potential move for Wolves defender Max Kilman before the transfer window shuts.

Kilman has recently signed a long-term contract at Wolves but he is highly regarded among Premier League scouts, having been linked to Tottenham as well in the past.

Reports a few days ago emerged to suggest that David Moyes is a big fan of Kilman as he looks for a new defender.

And now, journalist Ben Jacobs has said that Kilman is indeed ‘one to watch’ for the Hammers this month.

West Ham could sign Max Kilman from Wolves

Taking to, journalist Jacobs has mentioned a potential deal to bring Kilman to West Ham this month.

In his post, Jacobs claims that the deal is one to keep an eye on and that even though Kilman signed a new deal with Wolves, a £45m move should not be ruled out.

The journalist claims any move by the Hammers will depend on Nayef Aguerd going out of the club.

The Hammers are if the right offer comes in.

Kilman improves the Hammers

Max Kilman has gone a good way about building up a nice reputation for himself in recent seasons.

He is a good young defender who has proved he belongs in the Premier League and it’s little wonder that the likes of Spurs have had a look.

He’s currently a crucial part of Gary O’Neil’s side but money can often talk in the game and £45m would be a big fee for Wolves to bring in.

Lauded as a ‘wonderful‘ talent, Kilman would be taking an element of risk by joining West Ham right now.

But with uncertainty still at Wolves in some ways, he may see a move to London as something he can’t turn down.

Certainly, he’s an upgrade on Aguerd and would ensure West Ham have a top centre-half for years to come.
